Our student ministry exists to see students changed by Jesus.
Sunday Middle School GROW Group Leader
Middle School GROWgroup Leaders are committed to Christ, committed to students, and committed to Ooltewah Baptist Church (must be members). They are part of a team of teachers that lead discussion for the group using Biblically-sound curriculum approved by the Pastor of Students. Beyond the Sunday morning hour, leaders are encouraged to pray for students daily, check in on a different student each week, and connect with students monthly via attending a student activity/event. GROWgroup Leaders (as a team) are also expected to plan at least one community-building activity each semester; this can be social and/or missional.
Sunday High School GROW Group Leader
High School GROWgroup Leaders are committed to Christ, committed to students, and committed to Ooltewah Baptist Church (must be members). MIDWEEK Branchout Leaders
• BranchOut Leaders are committed to Christ, committed to students, and committed to Ooltewah Baptist Church (must be members). They aid in applying/connecting the Wednesday night teaching by walking students through short lists of application questions. Each Wednesday night they assist by arriving early to set up activities and welcome students. BranchOut Leaders are encouraged to pray for students daily, check in on a different student each week, and connect with students monthly via attending a student activity/event.
