YOUR LIFE CAN BE CHANGED BY JESUS
More than anything else, we want you to know that God loves you and has provided the gift of forgiveness through His Son, Jesus.
GOD LOVES YOU
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." Romans 3:23
JESUS DIED TO REMOVE THE SIN BARRIER
"He (God) made the one who did not know sin (Jesus) to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. -- 2 Corinthians 5:21
WE CAN'T SAVE OURSELVES
"For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift not from works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
WE RECEIVE JESUS THROUGH FAITH
"This is the message of faith that we proclaim: If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:8-9
YOU CAN ASK GOD TO SAVE YOU
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13
COMMON QUESTIONS
All persons are “sinners” in that they disobey God. Sin is choosing to go your own way and do your own thing as opposed to being obedient to God.
Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10
Sin is a barrier that prevents you from entering into unbroken fellowship with God, Who is holy. As a sinner, you can’t have fellowship with God. You are headed for a Christless eternity that the Bible calls Hell.
Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:23
People often think that through their efforts they can overcome the sin barrier between themselves and God. That isn’t true. There’s nothing you can do to restore the broken relationship with God. You can’t earn God’s salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4-5
Because of God’s love for every single person, He desires that you have unbroken fellowship with Him.
John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5
What you cannot do for yourself, Jesus Christ has done for you! Your sin is a barrier between you and God. But the Good News is that Jesus died on the cross for you and then rose from the dead to demonstrate that His payment was acceptable to God. By taking your punishment on Himself, Jesus made a way for relationship with God.
1 Peter 2:23; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 10:9
Everyone! Every person who places their faith in Jesus can receive salvation! We all need to be saved — from the person whose life is filled with regret, to the preacher’s kid who has followed every rule.
God’s desire is for everyone to have a relationship with His Son. The provision of the death and resurrection of Jesus is available to every person. At the moment of faith in Jesus, all that Jesus did for us, is applied to our account!
2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
When you put your trust in Jesus, in who He is and His payment for your sins, you are saved. Salvation is God’s gift to you. You cannot earn it, and you don’t have to “get right” to receive it.
Faith is trusting in what Jesus has done for you rather than trusting your own efforts to restore fellowship with God.
Faith is complete reliance on Jesus to put you in right relationship with God, allowing Him to live His life through you. Faith also involves repentance or genuine sorrow for sin and willingness to turn away from sin.
John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Each of us needs to respond to what God is offering us.
Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior and ask God to forgive you and help you turn from sin. Express sorrow or repentance for your sinfulness. Ask Him to forgive your sins.
Believe Jesus died for you and rose again, conquering sin and death. Invite Jesus into your life as your Savior.
You can talk to Jesus right now to receive him.
“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I need you to forgive me. I know that you Jesus died a painful death on the cross for my sin and rose again in victory so that I can have new life now and for all eternity. Thank you, Jesus. I am placing my faith in you and you alone and trusting in what you have done for me in my place.”
If you received Jesus for the first time, please give us a call REACH OUT and let us know!
